Day 7 - Tuesday (and recap of 5 and 6 again)

Earlier today I started to type a blog for Friday and yesterday but was interrupted by mother nature. Go figure, how dare her!

In all seriousness, it really made me think. I was freaked out. It probably lasted btw 12 to 15 seconds and you actually see the ground rolling. Someone described it perfectly to me, it was like a FUN HOUSE (with out all the fun). The floors go one way, the walls go another and you go the other! Absolutely crazy. Also, something weird happens to me. This is I believe my third and it was by far the largest, but just as before, I get this WEIRD feeling. Something I can't explain. Almost like my equilibrium goes off, a bit of vertigo or something.

Anyway, so on with the BOOT CAMP blog. Like I said earlier, Friday was easy. I actually arrived early so that I could run a little before hand. I have determined if I am going to get the most of this then I am really going to have to put in a little more before or after camp. So I get there early Friday and there is this MAN just STARING AT ME!! I was horrified. I hardly wanted to leave my stuff so that I could run, but I managed to and walked a 1/2 mile and then ran a 1/2 mile. Every time I circled this guys eyes were glued on me.

Once class started I even told the trainer and he also thought it was weird. The guy would move from his truck (which was situated directly in front of us) back to the grass and lay down and stare. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Brian, the trainer walked all of us to our cars. I LIVED!

Monday wasn't hard but we did a lot of legs, squats, lunges, etc. So those exercises have REALLY irritated my shin splints and my knees. I can thank my mom for bad knees. Monday we ran a 1/2 mile, not bad. But this morning my shins and knees were killing me!! If any one has any suggestions for taking care of shin splints I would really appreciate it.

So today, we had our trainer Kia. She is beautiful and SKINNY. She just got back from London and was gone for a few days from camp. I kind of caught wind that she is an actress and had some work over there.

Again, today camp wasn't hard. Just hard on my knees and shins. Did most of the basic stuff that we did all last week. Except today, we ran half of a mile with our dumbbells in hand (had to be waist high or higher) and then another half with out. Not bad. I can tell it is getting easier.

Anyway, trying to be brief bc i can see I get quite wordy. Overall, I know that I probably need to attempt to get to boot camp early so that I can get in some extra cardio to see the results I want. My fat ain't butter bc it ain't melting in this heat! haha.

This Thursday the "in-laws" (i hate that word, it sounds soo negative), Matt's family is coming in from Texas. I am hoping that Thursday I will still go to the afternoon class and they all can come and play in the park and then Friday I will get up and try to hit the 5:30 am class! YIKES!! WE WILL SEE!

Until next time, unless mother nature or the good Lord decides otherwise!
